According to Anime News Network which I just checked up on, it seams that Arrietty, the most recent film that was produced by Studio Ghibli has now been viewed over 7.5 million times since its release this past summer. That is a first time for a first time director. Miyazaki wrote and planned this film but did not direct it. It is the fourth film that has come out of Ghibli that was not directed by Hayao Miyazaki or his mentor. The other's are Whisper of the Heart, The Cat Returns and Tales from Earthsea (directed by his son). All great movies, I just can't wait to see Arrietty since I loved the Borrowers as a kid.
