Snow + Halloween= interesting...

Hey everybody!
I'm sorry that I haven't posted in a while but last weekend actually like 2 weekends ago I had gone camping with my dad up in the Shenandoah Park where I heard this past weekend it had snowed abut 9 inches. There was quite a snow storm that has covered the east coast knocking out power and causing lots of problems in the odd month of October. Below is the camp that was nice to have. I thought it was cold when we went but there would be over a half a foot of snow this past Saturday night. Well I still had a great weekend but I will soon be putting up some photos from that weekend. As soon as I can.
Also, today is Halloween over in the States. I know Halloween is canceled in some towns that got blacked out up in the North East from the snow. I think it might rain a tad bit in Richmond later. I have class tonight so I wont be handing out candy to kids and that is even if they walk the way back to our house in the woods. Well More to come everyone!

Shenandoah National Park with girl friend!

Hey everyone!
this past weekend I went to Shenandoah National Park up in the Blue Ridge Mountains with my girl friend. We did three short hikes; Little Stony Man, around Big Meadows and Dark Hollow Falls. It is busy this time of the year up there so if you plan to go in October where all the leaves change expect to see people on trails that are not extremely difficult. We entered from Thornton Gap and exited out at Route 33, Swift Run Gap I believe is what it is called. Anyways here are some photos to enjoy, also the smaller ones can be clicked to view closer or at photobucket!

So this is the view from the bluffs at Stony Main looking out to the west. The colors are in the development of changing!

Carter Mountain Apple Orchard Fall 2011

Hey Everyone!
This past weekend on Saturday I had gone to Carter Mountain Apple Orchard with my family. My sister was home for fall break from her school. I will tell you now, the mountain was packed on that Saturday. Seamed everyone wanted to pick some apples. It was a lot of fun and their Apple cider doughnuts are fantastic!
I went last year and was my first time using that camera. To find that post from last year, click here, there is also info and background on Carter Mountain!

So I am not a big apple person but there is something about going out and harvesting your own food once in a  while. Apples are a fantastic part of nature.

There were a lot of people that had pickers that they used to reach up into the tree to grab the apples. I'm nut sure if you can rent them or people brought them form home or what.

There were a ton of apples that were both rotting on the ground and in perfect condition sitting around. Green and red apples some with bashes in them all laying underneath the trees. There was a strong stench of vinegar  in the air as soon as we reached the top of the mountain and parked.

Up the hill is the fuji type of apples. Great for cooking.

You get a pretty good view off toe the east. If you look to the west you see the Blue ridge Mountains.

The apples looked so full and the trees looked really lushes with them all.

I like how they will all pile up after the fall. They group together like they don't want to be alone. Maybe they have feelings like the rest of us.

You can see all the Granny Smith apples that are in the tree tops. All those green dots.

Been a busy boy

Hey everyone!
So upcoming is going to be that post with Carter Mountains Apple Orchard. I have been pretty busy with my free time because when I have free time I either been eating, shower, driving to school, sleep or something else. Recently I have been using the extra time to planning my schedule for my trip next year and what I am doing and such. I can now safely say that my Japan trip is planned and now just need to finalize place to stay and transportation.
So that is exciting for me and now I have that out of the way and I am now probably or at least attempt get into blogging again. I haven;t posted anything on my others blogs recently from all the busyness. I would have this pass weekend but I was busy then too. I did however take photos at the orchard and edit them, just need to make a nice little post as well.
This weekend I am going to an Apple Festival and then staying at my girl friends uncles house and the following day will be in the mountains taking more photos. So more photos are going to come but that means I probably wont get those edited over the weekend.
At work yesterday at my internship, I was actually busy the entire time and I meant to blog but I was busy with actual work and in between I would put together my schedule for the trip. Now that I have that major part out of the way I am sure that I can get back to blogging.
It is rainy today and kinda depressing :(

Sry guys about not posting recently

Hey everyone!
I went to Carter Mountain today and I'll try to get those photos up. I want to post about some feelings that I have. I haven't been posting much on any my blogs or been doing stuff that I use to enjoy really. I feel like I have lost motivation and the life in my typing and photography and such. Heck even my modeling and blogging. I feel like not many care right now what I feel or what not and I guess if people don't have a feeling of inspiration what what I post and stuff or what I have to say I kinda lose my own inspiration that I give to myself. I'm not sure, I have been thinking a lot and there are things that I need to mul over.
Other then that I had a great day with my family. I guess family is more important then a lot of other things and I really appreciated being with them today and having a great day picking apples. I really don't care for apples but it is something that I enjoy to do. Maybe one day I can go to a peach orchard, that I WOULD LOVE.
I got some Apple cider and will be drinking that. They have fantastic Apple cider donuts, they are so freaking good. It was extremely crowded today up there and full of people. The mountains are looking gorgeous and I can;t wait to go back next week. I will probably be going alone or with my father. I will probably be going with dad and then the following weekend again for a day or perhaps I will camp. The mountains today is what inspired me for photography, I love them and something out there in Appalachia country make my heart beat and drives me forward.
I hope I straighten out some thoughts tat are zig-zagging all over my minds vast thoughts. I can't wait to get back into what I have been doing the past weeks.
I have been getting involved with filming stuff for my blogs, writing, going over my files for the blog, blogging, studying my own personal things like trees and the Japanese language but I'm in a pot hole. I will get myself out one way or another. I will start to dive back into this.
I can see blogging as something that will drive me forward for a long time. Hehe, I just had a picture of me at 70 blogging on some high tech computer.
Man, it feels like 10pm but it isn't even 8 yet.
I think I might go get some cider, I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Can't sleep...

So it is about 1am nearly and I still can't sleep. Grr.
I haven't posted recently because I have been so busy. Today was crammed with stuff to do and I studied some tonight but I still didn't get much to to do some of the things I wanted to do. I was playing around with the idea of video for this blog and maybe video for the other ones as well but I barley have time to type up a paragraph or so how will I sit down film ten minutes or less, edit it and post it? Yeah, though stuff not to mention getting the lighting in my room just right when I was trying to do a video review was a pain. I was using a bamboo poll as a camera tripod (more like uni-pod leaning on my desk).
I am ready for the weekend where I think I can get some things in to do for the blog or maybe paint and relax again. I hope it wont be rainy as I want to do outside stuff. My car is going to get repaired on Saturday and I should be good to go for a while. Oh, speaking of car someone backed into me today in the garage but lucky me no scratch or dent in the car. So lucky indeed. I think I might get a hair cut Saturday as well and I think the apple picking is back on for Saturday with everyone. I can't wait to go to the mountains.
The following weekend I was going to go camping but that is scrapped which I was going to guess that it would. I will go the following weekend with my dad and just not with my girl friend. I am not sure if she doesn't like camping. Funny story, her brother that was in 6th grade last year had a girl friend and broke up with her because she didn't like camping. That guy has a strong heart. Camping will probably be a family thing or a friend thing in the future but now I know for sure since it has to be the 3rd 4th time I tried. I think she is going to an apple festival instead with her family but that is all good. I just sometimes she figures out things you know before I get riled up but I know she isn't a planner so that is the way it is.
I feel that my life is soon going to have a changing tied coming. I don't know what is going to be at the for front but something is going to get me going with it. Not sure but I guess the time in a persons life is just at the point of finishing up college it is always a turning point. Looking for jobs, my bad, looking for a career and prospecting what lies ahead of ones life. Something that should matter though is what happens now, the present. The most important time is the now, what you experience.
I don't know what lies ahead, experiences, wonder and adventure for me probably. I get shivers of excitement and I feel that the continuous wheel of life, Samara, is yet inviting.
I hope to share photos soon with everyone, till next blog post.
