Oh! Some early flowers!

There was no one out!

Tried a few different settings when I took the photos on the camera. I believe white and grainy is the first, Intense is the second photo and the last is sepia obviously haha

It is a lovely house, even inside but cost a bit to get inside and I have been in there a few times...

Snow Fall in Richmond, Feb 2012

Hey everyone!
So it snowed on Sunday February 19th, the day I came back from Katsucon!
Glad it snowed but I couldn't really enjoy it at all. I had class at 9am Monday morning so I got up early and took a few photographs but I rather have stayed out for a while more!

It also wasn't a really light dusting, like it made our holly trees hang low and some snapped!

Photobucket

It didn't stay on the roads/pavement for that long, it was gone by Monday at 10am...

Dad going up the drive way to shake the snow off the holly tree so we can get out...

The weeping holly trees, I love them...

Our poor, cold well top!

I love snow that is heavy and sticks to the side of things, makes the forest look gorgeous....

So much white!

Bamboo of Maymont...

Hey Everyone!
So Bamboo, yeah the stuff is awesome and green year around.
These photos below are from the Bamboo at Maymont. There is some Bamboo really far and deep in the woods by my house and they are extremely tall and there is only like 20 shoots of them. Weird is that you think bamboo will grow everywhere once planted but it has only stayed those same shoots for the past ten years. So I don't cut any down there for that reason.

I went when it was about time for the park to close up which is 5pm...

Photobucket

It really has a lot of shade underneath it's canopy...

This poor shoot had a scar...

The roots are really interesting to see, this is also the way they grow from shoots poking up through the soil from the roots underneath. They are all interconnected...

Photobucket Photobucket

Their thin blades are beautiful themselves...
